Make your own recycled bokashi bucket

Let’s get together and learn how to make our own Bokashi Bucket using recycled materials - it’s fun, eco friendly and easy! You’ll be able to keep your food scraps out of landfill and make fertiliser for your garden.

Join Leila from Seed the Ground at Botanical Bazaar for a fun and eco friendly workshop to teach you all about the benefits of composting with Bokashi and how you can reduce waste in your home.

We'd love you to join us at our Burleigh Compost Hub for a Saturday morning working bee!
We'll be doing lots of pruning, adding compost to garden beds, dismantling our old greenhouse and harvesting worm castings from our 'worm hotel' worm bath.
All welcome to come and get your hands dirty and in return we'll supply the coffee and some compost to take home

We’re excited to announce the opening of our newest compost hub, Varsity Compost Hub at the Varsity Veggies Community Gardens.

We’ve installed large compost bays and insitu compost bins to process food scraps and coffee grinds from local cafes, to make nutrient rich compost that can be used in the community gardens.

Come and join us to make some compost and tour the community gardens.
